Is there any evidence of the subconscience mind? Or any stories of personal success using hypnotherapy?

I need to know if it exists or not. For SURE. I don’t want any "well duh" answers. I need proof. You can’t just assume these things!

?
I need presentable proof. (school project)

hello
there are many evidences of sub conscience
coming to the story,
You pose deep questions that may involve a lot of study on your part, starting with the greats like Freud, Jung and others and moving into more modern day theorists. Keep in mind that they are all based on theory, however, as we do not have a road map to the brain’s inter-psychic functioning yet.

The part of our brain’s functioning that we are aware of is only a tiny fraction of what the brain is doing for us at any time. While you read and comprehend this, your brain is regulating your breathing, filtering out distracting noises, keeping track of that itch you have on the big toe of your right foot, and processing your feelings about the interaction you had with your mother earlier today. So when we are talking about conscious thought, we are talking about only that tiny part we are aware of.

One of the difficulties of your questions is in the duality you have as to whether conscious or unconscious is the "we". You write, "is our conscience mind a mirror of what we put into our sub conscience mind?" It is all part of us, the conscious, the unconscious, and they are not separate. You ask, "can we get our sub conscience to believe something even if conscience we may not believe it?" It would probably be more accurate to say we can get our conscious mind to act as if it believes something that we know in our entire mind is not true.

So, here is my pitch for you to study psychology. Based on your interesting question, I think you would enjoy reading the various theorists and struggling with this issue some more.

A good example to prove that a sub-level of consciousness or awareness exists is the startle reflex which we innately manifest when we are suddenly threatened by a novel stimulus.

Hi

You will find many answers to this on a google search, but the one below will knock your teachers for 6. And try putting this in the project- science cannot empirically prove the existence of ther subconscious mind, but we should just see the subconscious as a name we give to a naturally occuring phenomenon no different to the weather in that respect.

And like the doctor below, if he can have an operation without anaesthetic then how can one dispute the power of the subconcious mind? its irrefutable proof. I think you have passed this project!!
